Project Spotlight: Imagine West End Waterfront Vision Plan

The Imagine West End Waterfront Vision Plan, the largest planning project ever undertaken by the Vancouver Park Board, recently received a 2026 Award of Excellence from the Canadian Society of Landscape Architects in the Planning and Analysis category.

Bunt & Associates was proud to be part of the multidisciplinary consultant team led by PFS Studio, providing transportation planning and engineering input to help create a 30-year vision for the area’s parks, beaches, public spaces, and surrounding transportation network.

Our team conducted comprehensive data collection and analysis across the large study area to understand existing traffic operations, multi-modal travel patterns, and parking activity. We also provided planning and design input for enhanced sustainable travel facilities, including consideration of how changes to automobile movement and parking could support a more connected and accessible waterfront.
