2026 Active Transportation Summit
Bunt & Associates is proud to return as a sponsor of the 2026 Active Transportation Summit, taking place October 28 – 30 in Victoria, BC! This year, you won’t just find us at the workshops and presentations – for the first time, we’ll also be on the exhibition floor!
Bunt has long been committed to active transportation planning and design. From small communities to major urban centres across British Columbia and Alberta, we’ve worked alongside municipalities, developers, and Indigenous communities to deliver practical solutions that help make walking, cycling, and other sustainable modes safer, more accessible, and more convenient for everyone. Over the past 30 years, we’ve supported active transportation initiatives in a wide range of communities, regions and First Nations across Western Canada.
With the Summit taking place right in our backyard in Victoria, we’re looking forward to sharing our experience, learning from others, and continuing the conversations that help move active transportation forward in Western Canada. Here’s where you can find us:
Speaking Session | October 29
Join Jason Potter and Sophie Renard for their presentation, “From Plan to Pavement: Why AT Plans Stall and How to Fix Them.” Drawing on municipal perspectives and case studies from communities across BC, they’ll explore why ambitious active transportation plans sometimes stall and what it takes to overcome the barriers to implementation.
Trade Fair | October 29 – 30
We’ll be hosting a booth at the Trade Fair for the first time. If you’re attending the summit, be sure to drop by to meet Tyler Thomson, Jason Potter, Sophie Renard, Michael McNish, Jaclyn Currie and Stuart Perfect. Our team will be there to share some of our projects, hear about your initiatives, and exchange ideas on what’s next for active transportation in your community.
We look forward to connecting with you in Victoria!
