National Day for Truth and Reconciliation

Saturday, September 30 is National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. This is a time to honour the victims and survivors of the residential schools, advance our understanding and awareness of Indigenous history, and to act upon the Calls to Action outlined in the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s Final Report.

At Bunt & Associates, we recognize that reconciliation is a complex and ongoing process that we all share responsibility for. We are committed to supporting all efforts of reconciliation and empowerment for First Peoples. Indigenous learning is incorporated into our ongoing training, development, and staff resources. We also encourage our staff to participate in Continuing Professional Development courses offered by professional designation organizations.

In observance of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, Bunt will be closing its offices on October 2. We encourage everyone to seize this opportunity for learning and reflection on the historical and ongoing impacts of residential schools, and our collective role in reconciliation.
