Congratulations Bunt Award Recipients

We love some celebratory announcements around here, and this time, congratulations are in order for the latest recipients of the Bunt Award of Excellence and Culture Champion Award!

In BC, the Award of Excellence went to two deserving recipients this time around – Allan Conopio and Roxana Sorkhi – and in the Prairies, it was proudly presented to Brian Thi. The Bunt Award of Excellence recognizes employees who exhibit dedication, perseverance, and consistent excellence in their work. Allan, Roxana, and Brian have demonstrated these qualities (and more!), and receiving this award is a testament to their contributions throughout 2025.

The BC Culture Champion Award was once again awarded to Kieran Quan, while Soo Jin Ri became the first recipient of the Culture Champion Award in the Prairies. Both Kieran and Soo Jin do a fantastic job of fostering a positive and inclusive workplace within their respective offices while going above and beyond to champion our local, regional, and company-wide events throughout the year – the very spirit of this award.

Congratulations to all five Bunters! We’re so grateful for all you have done and continue to do.

Here’s what our 2025 Bunt award recipients said:

Allan Conopio: I am grateful for the recognition of my work at Bunt and for the knowledge and skills I have developed since I joined in 2022, both in and out of the field. Whether I am outside collecting traffic data on the side of a highway, or finalizing a transportation planning report, I’ve always taken pride in the work I’ve done at Bunt, and have appreciated the support from everyone within the office, who I wouldn’t be here without.

Roxana Sorkhi: I’m very appreciative of this recognition and what it represents. It reflects the high level of mentorship, trust, and support at Bunt, and I’m grateful to work alongside colleagues who are always willing to share knowledge and encourage growth. Thank you to everyone who has played a role in my journey so far.

Brian Thi: I’m incredibly grateful for the guidance, mentorship, and encouragement I’ve received throughout my time at Bunt. The support from my colleagues and leaders has played a meaningful role in my professional growth and development. I’m honoured by this recognition and see it as motivation to continue striving for excellence. I look forward to continuing to learn, grow, and contribute alongside such a supportive and inspiring team.

Kieran Quan: I look forward to coming into the office every day because I get to collaborate on projects with friends. This is why I rarely work from home! Being able to contribute to this community, both in small ways and collectively in big ways, as part of an amazing social committee, is something I truly enjoy. I’m honoured to receive this award!

Soo Jin Ri: This recognition means a lot to me because it reflects the people and environment I get to work with every day. Being part of a Bunt team that values collaboration, openness, and support makes it easy to stay engaged and contribute beyond day-to-day work. I’m grateful for the trust and encouragement from my colleagues, and I look forward to continuing to contribute to a positive and inclusive workplace. Thank you for the 2025 Culture Champion award.
