Webinar: Navigating the Challenges and Opportunities of Active Transportation in a Rural and Regional Context

Communities are planning to incorporate active transportation infrastructure, policies, and programs to facilitate and encourage people to choose active modes for health, environmental, economic and recreational reasons. However, challenges and opportunities for active transportation planning can differ for urban vs rural settings. One of our Senior Transportation Planners, Tyler Thomson will be speaking at the CITE BC Interior Chapter, talking about some of the strategies being explored to address active transportation planning challenges in rural/smaller communities, as well as the opportunities.
