Lunch & Learn with BCIT ITE Student Chapter

It was a great honour for Bunt & Associates to join ITE British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) Student Chapter’s very first Lunch & Learn session on February 4!

Yulia Liem, Regional Manager for BC, and Allan Conopio, Transportation Technologist, were thrilled to meet so many enthusiastic students and share insights from our work in transportation engineering and planning. Allan was especially happy to return as a proud BCIT alumnus.

Our presentation, titled “Building Sustainable Communities through Transportation Planning”, used the Oakridge Centre Redevelopment as a case study to illustrate the impact transportation professionals have in shaping communities. The session wrapped up with an engaging Q&A and thoughtful questions from students.

A big thank you to BCIT ITE for inviting us as the first industry guests to share experiences with your newly formed student chapter. We look forward to seeing the next generation of transportation professionals thrive!
