ITE BC Interior Section & PIBC – 2025 Fall Conference

Erin Tattrie and Josie Ackroyd from our Kelowna team had an insightful Friday well spent at the ITE BC Interior Section & PIBC Okanagan Interior Chapter’s Fall 2025 Conference in Vernon on October 24.

Proudly sponsored in part by Bunt & Associates, the conference brought together peers from both public and private sectors to exchange ideas on Equity through Urban Design in the BC Interior. It was a great opportunity to learn about parking reform and proposed transportation projects in the region, and to explore how Bunt can help create sustainable, equitable solutions for more connected communities.

One of the highlights was the introduction of the City of Kelowna’s new Urban Centre Explorer Dashboard – a tool that visualizes key data shaping the city’s growth and mobility patterns. We look forward to drawing insights from the dashboard to help inform our future project recommendations and support evidence-based, sustainable planning.

The team also enjoyed the E-Bike / E-Scooter Micromobility Technical Tour, which showcased active transportation initiatives in the area.
