Celebrating International Day of Women and Girls in Science at STEM-apalooza!

February 11 marked the International Day of Women and Girls in Science. As an employer of choice for many talented women, Bunt & Associates was proud to once again celebrate and empower future women in STEM by supporting STEM-apalooza with TELUS World of Science – Edmonton (TWOSE).

Alyssa Lefebvre and Lena Yuan from our Edmonton team had so much fun connecting with families and future STEM leaders. It was a great turnout, with many guests stopping by our booth to learn about what we do in transportation engineering and planning. Visitors also rolled up their sleeves and tried their hand at designing a street – choosing elements like bike paths, sidewalks, and traffic lanes to see how thoughtful transportation design shapes communities.

At Bunt, we are incredibly proud of our female engineers, analysts, and technologists and the impact they make every day. We believe early exposure to science, engineering, and real-world problem solving helps young people see what’s possible and who they can become. By connecting with kids and families in fun, approachable ways, we hope to spark curiosity about how transportation engineering shapes the communities we live in.
