Congratulations Kyle Brandstaetter, RPP, MCIP, P.L.Eng.

A huge congratulations to Kyle Brandstaetter on taking another step forward in his professional journey with a P.L.Eng. (Professional Licensee Engineer) designation!

Kyle joined Bunt & Associates in 2011 after receiving his master’s in urban studies from King’s College London (UK). Kyle joined Bunt as a Transportation Planning Assistant and became a Transportation Planner/Project Manager around the time he received his Registered Professional Planner (RPP) designation with the Canadian Institute of Planners (MCIP) in 2016. Since then, he has consistently pursued professional excellence and deepened his transportation engineering knowledge and expertise, and in recent years Kyle has been a team lead at Bunt in his Senior Transportation Planner role. This latest designation is a testament to both his technical acumen and unwavering commitment to growth.

The P.L.Eng. is a specialized license granted by Engineers and Geoscientists BC that allows experienced professionals, who may not have taken the traditional university engineering degree route, to practice in a defined area of reserved engineering practice.  Kyle is the first employee based in BC to receive this designation; a significant milestone for both him and our BC teams.

Thank you, Kyle, for making Bunt a part of your professional journey, and congratulations again on this well-deserved recognition!

“Receiving my engineering designation is truly an honor—it’s been a long road coming. Thank you to all who have supported me in reaching reach this career milestone. As a planner, I know the journey is just as important as the destination, and I look forward to helping carve the best path forward for Bunt and for our clients.” – Kyle Brandstaetter, RPP, MCIP, P.L.Eng.
