Bunt has undertaken numerous road corridor and network studies for municipal, regional and provincial governments. These types of studies typically involve roadway inventory, traffic and parking data collection; forecasting and operational analysis of key intersections and roadway links; preparation of phased improvement strategies to match roadway capacity to forecasted demand; preparation of conceptual and functional plans and cross sections of recommended improvements; and, cost estimating. As well as roadway planning for automobiles, many of Bunt's studies often take a multi-modal approach by also including improvements and policy recommendations related to planning for increasing transit, cycling and walking trips.
